British Forces Re-enactment

The British Forces Living History Club is an organisation that brings together a number of British Re-enactment Groups. Each group portrays a different aspect of the British Forces this also includes the homefront. The club has no political affiliation and will not glorify conflict.

We are a group of people who enjoy portraying the World War Two British Army Medical Services, we are based in the north of England and visit many shows in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Lancashire during the year putting on displays.
         During WW2 Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, and Veterinarian's served all over the world from Europe to the desert and out to the Jungles of the far east. Our aims are to educate and inform the next generation on how they did this. ​

We are a group of like minded individuals mainly based around the North of England who get together at events to re-enact the British Tommy serving with the 50th Infantry Division.
Our displays show uniforms,equipment, weapons and vehicles from the period.
We are an independent Unit and we have full Public Liability Insurance.

61st Reconnaissance Regiment

​We are the 61st Reconnaissance Regiment Living History Group,
Our portrayal of the 61st Recce is to show what they and other Reconnaissance units did at the forefront of most of the fighting in Europe from D Day to the Ardennes.
​We have a large Living History Display showing weapons, equipment and vehicles used by Reconnaissance troops.

Phantom Living History Group

 Our Phantom Living History Group aims to share our interest in Phantom, by attending events all over the country where we display our collection of vehicles and artefacts. We are also part of the Northern World War Two Association and members of the Military Vehicle Trust. We are a non-political group whose aim is not to glorify war but to act as a living memorial to honour and respect those who served with Phantom.

​Primarily "Homefront" orientated and usually re-enacting the 1939 - 1945 period we have progressively diversified to include World War One re-enactment. The activity of providing historical depiction of life in a more colourful and memorable way of ensuring people never forget the way we used to live.

The Dukes started with humble origins as three friends who had a passion for history and wanted to take part in a rich and rewarding hobby. The Duke of Wellingtons Regiment was selected because of its proximity and its long and proud history. Although called Keighley & District Re-enactors we have members from all over the place as we do events all over the north. 
We are also part of the Northern WW2 Association.
​The group is available for private events such as film work, corporate events, weddings and other events.
